*Harm Reduction Guide to Coming Off Psychiatric Drugs*

This new illustrated manual supports people who are labeled with bipolar, depression, anxiety and other psychiatric conditions looking for alternatives to commonly prescribed treatments. Written in collaboration with a 14-member advisory panel of MD psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists and acupunctursts, the guide takes a pro-choice stance towards medications, as well as exploring the economic, political, creative, and spiritual aspects of reliance on pharmaceutical care. Event co-sponsored by Freedom Center and The Icarus Project.


*About the author*

Will Hall is a schizophrenia survivor, co-founder of the Northampton-based peer support and advocacy group Freedom Center, and a collective member of The Icarus Project. He has been interviewed in the New York Times, Forbes, and on NPR, and written for Adbusters and Left Turn magazines. He recently returned from Argentina working with Mental Disability Rights International.
