The Western Mass. Recovery Learning Community (RLC) is hosting "An Evening with David Oaks" on Monday, October 5th.  David Oaks is the Executive Director of MindFreedom International and was recently featured on ABC Primetime.  David is returning to old stomping grounds where he began his career as a member of the Mental Patient Liberation Front in Boston in 1976.  David will speak about his experiences with the consumer/survivor/ex-patient movement not only to provide us with important historical information, but also as a guide for where we should be going as an international peer movement.  Ample time will be given for an interactive discussion.
